Images taken during the day where the team of scientists get by helicopter to the glacier at 3950 m of altitude. They carried several tons of material in order to make the remote camp and to the set up of the ice drilling system.
The team of students assisted and supported this delicate phase. In the afternoon they made a field trip to the amazing Stelvio Pass (2850 m).
